Quietly a hidden treasure has been developing in Des Moines. The Downtown Church has been open for a little over a year. It’s location has moved a few times, but the committed keep coming back week after week.  The majority of people that go are 23-30 and single. Services are on Saturday night, and typically draw around the two hundred  people. Most weeks the pastor of DTC, Dan Rude speaks, but occasionally there are guest pastors. DTC is a welcoming environment that is growing quickly.This is a church that needs to be experienced to be appreciated. DTC is a non denominational congregation that welcomes everyone.

Insiders tip- Make sure to dress appropriate for the weather. The Downtown Church just got air conditioning but has yet to be installed, so it can get very hot during the service.
If you are a newly wed there is a great community of just married couples who like to get together during the week.
